How Talentino Live online talent contests work

Talentino Live is an online stage for performers and creators across India. Instead of travelling to an audition, you record a short video or photo on your phone, upload it to an open contest, and compete with people from your city and age group. Every contest shows its city, age band, deadline and prize up front, and signed-in contestants only see the contests they qualify for.

Contest categories

Contests run in seven categories. Acting contests work like online auditions for monologues and scenes. Singing covers film songs, classical, folk, indie and original music. Dance welcomes Bollywood, hip-hop, classical and folk styles. Modelling accepts runway walks and portfolio photos. Painting covers drawing and painting in any medium, short films are open to phone and camera filmmakers, and handicrafts celebrates pottery, embroidery, jewellery, woodwork and other handmade work. Separate junior contests, with verified parental consent, run for under-12s and 13–17-year-olds.

How judging and voting work

Each entry gets one final score out of 10: 50% from judges and 50% from the audience. Judges score blind on a fixed rubric — Technique 30%, Creativity 25%, Expression 25% and Overall impact 20% — and with four or more judges the highest and lowest marks are dropped. The audience half blends verified votes (40%), viewers' 1–10 star ratings (40%) and watch-through (20%). Voting is verified: one account per phone number, one vote per entry per day and a daily cap per contest, with automatic checks for suspicious voting. After a contest closes the top 25 are shortlisted for judges and the top 5 can perform in a live online finale.

From your city to the national stage

Contests run for individual cities, districts and "Rest of state" regions as well as all-India. Top city performers can be promoted to zonal rounds across six zones, and zonal winners move on to the national finals — so a performer from a small town has the same route as one from a metro. See the city-to-national path.

Prizes

Prizes are set by each contest and listed on its page before you enter. Every entrant also gets a scorecard with judge feedback, and the Talentino Academy offers coaching to help you improve.
