Privacy Policy

Talentino Live – Jainam Wellness Limited is the Data Fiduciary for Talentino. This policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

1. Data we collect

• Identity: name, stage name, date of birth / age band, gender, city, state, school (School Talent).
• Contact: mobile number, email; for minors, the parent/guardian's name, relationship and verified mobile.
• Content: videos, photos, audio, captions, comments and live performances.
• Activity: votes, ratings, follows, views, watch time, reports.
• Device & usage: device type, app version, IP address, push token, logs.
• Payments (Academy): order and payment IDs from our payment processor. We do not store card numbers.

2. Why we use it

• To run accounts, contests, judging, voting, leaderboards and the Academy.
• To verify identity, prevent fraud and fake votes, and keep children safe.
• To send service notifications. Marketing messages only with your separate opt-in.
• To meet legal obligations (tax, law enforcement requests, IT Rules).

3. Legal basis — consent

We process personal data on the basis of your free, specific and informed consent, given at sign-up and at specific steps (uploads, parental consent, marketing), and for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act.

4. Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as long as needed for contests, disputes and legal requirements (typically up to 3 years after account closure; tax records up to 8 years). Submitted content is owned by the company (Content Ownership) and may be retained.

5. Sharing

• Judges see entries (without vote counts or entrant identity during blind judging).
• Service providers acting for us: cloud hosting and database, SMS/OTP providers, push notification services, payment processors, email providers.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights as a Data Principal

• Access a summary of your data and processing.
• Correction, completion and updating.
• Erasure — see Delete Account.
• Grievance redressal — see Grievance Officer; you may then approach the Data Protection Board of India.
• Nomination of another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

7. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time (e.g. marketing in Notification settings, or deleting your account). Withdrawal does not affect processing already done.

8. Children's data

Under the DPDP Act everyone under 18 is a child. We process a child's data only after verifiable parental consent, show minors by first name and city only, and do not carry out behavioural tracking, profiling for ads, or targeted advertising directed at under-18s. Parents can manage or withdraw consent from the Parents dashboard.

9. Security

Encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security, OTP verification and audit logs. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and the Board of breaches as required.

10. Cross-border transfer

Some service providers may process data outside India, only in countries not restricted by the Government of India, under contractual safeguards.
